This will unlock the right part of the center desk puzzle. Slide the plate there aside to reveal the last switch. Rotate the piece to reveal another switch, this unlocks the lower right desk cabinet. Flip the switch inside to unlock the left part of the center desk puzzle. Opening the desk drawer reveals… nothing? Flip the switch on the side of the drawer to pull back the false bottom and find a handle, then use that on the left desk drawer. This will unlock the upper right drawer of the study desk. In your inventory, you can manipulate this object into a key. Return to the lower floor of the library, and examine the coin slot of the fortune teller. Use the eyepiece to enter the newly revealed stage, and collect the wax cylinder.

Use the box’s controls and your eyepiece to turn the cube into a sphere, then take it back to the book in the library and place it in the hole. Turn on the engine if you have not already done so. Place the metal cube on the platform, and it will be drawn into the box. On the left side there’s a wooden box and a platform with the hexagonal glyph from The Room Two on it. Go downstairs to the observatory, and look at the table with the engine on it. If you look on the right side of the book, you’ll see a similar indentation, except this one is round. Take the metal cube from the left side of the book. Look at the table with the “Great Khan” book on it, and close the book. To find the “green” artifact, you will need to collect four tokens for the “Mystical Maggie” fortune telling machine in the library.īegin in the upstairs part of the library. This is a similar maze to the one you did in the Observatory, (the top button moves your forward, the side buttons turn you around) but now you must follow the arrow around the edge of the screen to your destination. This will power the viewscreen on your right. Place the other two crystals into the engine, and start it up if you have not already done so. Look at the table on your left, there’s an engine with a similar crystal in it. Take both crystals downstairs to the conservatory.

Return to the atrium and collect the second crystal from the broken safe. Build up some momentum with the pendulum until you can smash it into the back of the safe, and knock it down to the atrium. This controls the swing of the pendulum in the tower’s center. Walk around the catwalk to the other side of the room, and look down at the railing. Next, go up to the tower through the library elevator and take a look at the locked safe.

Setting the counterweights in the correct position will award you the first crystal. Use the eyepiece to see the correct settings for the three counterweights reflected in the pendulum. Wait till the minute hand lines of with one of the four lines on the clock, then flip the switch that is revealed. To find the “blue” artifact, you will need to collect two purple crystals.įirst, go to the study and look at the clock face with your eyepiece. I will describe the two artifacts by the color of the crystals contained within them.

You will also find several notes from the Craftsman, giving you insights as to the events surrounding the game, hidden around Grey Holm. The screwdriver should already be in your inventory you picked it up as part of repairing the oscilloscope to access the Observatory. You will also need a screwdriver to unlock one of the endings. To get any ending except the first one, you will need to acquire two mysterious artifacts, hidden well within Grey Holm. There are four endings to The Room Three, and which one you get will depend on your actions both in Grey Holm and within the final room. However, your fate has not yet been decided. When you place the fifth and final pyramid on the atrium’s platform, you will receive the Craftsman’s Key, and the door to the final level will open for you.
